Article 3: Participatory weekend: volunteers in action

This weekend, a few friends and relatives came to lend a hand carrying the straw bales into the barn. The atmosphere was really great, even though the work was physical and intense: lifting, carrying and stacking bales wears you out! We had a good laugh, encouraged each other between trips, and the satisfaction of seeing the barn fill up was real.

At the end, once the job was done, we shared a cold beer and some barbecue together as a reward. It was a really nice moment, simple but meaningful for the project.
